Shepherd & Guardian Of Our Soul
What is our purpose in life? Why were we created? Our purpose is to glorify God.
Our purpose is to enjoy all the attributes of God Almighty, today, tomorrow and forever! This might seem a little odd, looking at our purpose when we’re doing a communion study. Isn’t it all supposed to be about Jesus? Well, yeah! It is all supposed to be about Jesus! THAT’S OUR PURPOSE!!
Join us as we look out our created purpose and how that leads us back to the Shepherd. Because we all know we are continually straying. Prone to wander, prone to leave the God we love. Communion is a chance to return to the Shepherd and Guardian of our soul. Even in our wonderings, Jesus paved the way back, then came looking for us and led us down that path back to His loving fold of safety. The safety near the Shepherd and Guardian of our soul.
“Take, eat; this is My body.” Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. “For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26:26-28
