John 15:1-2 – True Vine, True Israel
Christ said that He was the True Vine. That’s a great analogy. Everyone connected to Him as a branch gets nourished spiritually and produces fruit. But is that all that He meant? The Jewish people had been often referred to as God’s vineyard. They thought that they were the true vine. But Jesus changed all of that. He is the True Vine which makes Him in all reality true Israel. Then by proxy or by grafting in, everyone who is attached to Christ can be considered True Israel. The branch cannot be any different that what the vine is. Join us as we look at John 15:1-2 – True Vine, True Israel and see that spiritually, if you are connected to Christ you have become Spiritual Israel.
